From Springtime to Autumn, there are a multitude of festivals devoted to local produce.

Wine festivals
Celebrating the grape harvest from the end of September through October, several wine-growing towns and villages come alive every weekend.

Sauerkraut festivals
Cabbage-growing is centred to the South and South-West of Strasbourg (between Obernai and Erstein). Sauerkraut festivals are held on certain weekends at the end of August through September.
