Throughout this leaflet, you will discover the numerous cycle trails that exist in the Department of Bas-Rhin (Northern Alsace). Variable in distance and the way they have been thought out, the routes have been defined to allow cyclists to plan their itinerary before they arrive in Alsace.

A large range of routes

These routes all connect with the networks of cycle trails in the neighbouring French Departments and the German regions of the Palatinate and Baden-Württemberg. There are also cycle-train combinations. Cyclists can make the outward journey by rail and come back by bike. TER trains in Alsace provide this kind of transport, carrying cycles as space permits. Finally, to guarantee maximum safety the routes mainly follow cycle paths, cycle lanes and limited access roads. Most certainly the best way to see Alsace.
